Just recently I decided to build a hovercraft. Since I don’t know anything about hovercrafts we needed someone who did. Soon we had found a good website from Instructables that described in great detail how to build a decent hovercraft.

So first things first right? We bought the plans. They should come soon and then we can buy the materials, get the engine and start the work. When it’s finished it should go 8″ off the ground and even go on water. I am very excited and I can’t wait to finish it.

This winter I have decided to learn to ski. At first I was a little clumsy but soon I got the hang of it, and was exploring the J-bar (a J-bar is a kind of lift) and Chair Lift. Skiing was a ton of fun once I got a little better.

Now I’m enrolled in a skiing program with the my school and I go skiing every Friday at a local skiway. I’m learning every day and soon I’ll be an expert skier.

Did you know that 1+2+3+4+5+6…… all the way to Infinity, is -1/12? It doesn’t seem real but it is. Here is a video to prove it.

Isn’t that cool? There is some debate that parts of that equation are a little bit too “mad scientist” to actually work but I’m not a mathematician so I wouldn’t know.

There was once a Gnome named Tomte Nickleson. He was a very important man and Governor of his colony. He lived in a really big house under a great gnarly ash tree.

Tomte Nickleson’s people were very happy, but one year there was a famine. Tomte Nickleson went to ask the plants for help. When he got to the place where they were they were all dead because there was no water for them to drink. Dismayed, he watered them and they slowly came back to life.

“Go to the river,” they said, “and ask our cousins the water lilies for help. They will know what to do.”

So the Gnome went to the river and asked the water lilies for help. “Take the magic rice from this river and feed it to your people,” they said. “It will end the famine forever.”

Tomte Nickleson did his and was amazed by its success.

Soon the famine was over and the Gnomes rejoiced . There was never hunger in the land again.

We went to Quebec to sleep in the Hotel de Glace, which is basically just a big hotel made of ice. Anyway we slept there in big mummy style sleeping bags. You had to wear a hat and long under wear. Even though I was all bundled up I was still cold. We went with a friend who was also cold. [Editor’s Note: I want it known for the record that I did not hear any complaints about children being cold until we had returned home.]

If you had to go to the bathroom you had to walk across the whole place in the cold, to get there. Still, it was cool. It had a slide, a bar, and a chapel all made of ice. There was also hot tubs and a sauna, not ice of course. As you can imagine it was expensive, but if I was rich I’d do it again.

I started writing a story a while ago. It’s called,; well it doesn’t really have a name. Anyway it’s about a girl and a boy who are spies. They have crazy adventures with spying in several different ways. For the rest you’ll have to read it.

I asked a  trusted friend to put my manuscript into a bound book. She hasn’t returned it yet but I expect it very soon.

My Grandma was just at our house a couple of days ago. When she comes, she always brings a few surprises. This time I had many favorites, but I think my absolute favorite was an awesome card game, but not just any card game, a Monopoly card game. I played it once and lost, but I liked so I played it again. Soon I got addicted to it and now I love it. You should try it too!
